The artist Marjane Satrapi designed the "Satrapi Sisters" service in Limoges porcelain for Bernardaud. She chose to present different women because, in her opinion, women represent harmony and beauty. Although the artist grew up as a single child, she has given the name "Satrapi Sisters" to this dinnerware by Bernardaud since she feels very closely associated with many women in her social and professional life.
