Magique, the magic of Fiam glass | 1st of September 2013 |
Marco Maturo and Alessio Roscini, the Italian design duo behind Milan-based Studio Klass have collaborated with the curved glass furniture specialists Fiam on the design of this simple, geometrical side table. Called ‘Magique’, the cuboid, semi-transparent piece features multiple intersecting shelves and the design is made of 10 mm welded glass which is available in a variety of finishes such as transparent glass or smoked grey
‘Magique extends the traditional concept of the side-table to a flexible project for a variety of uses and spaces in the home. Thanks to a play of intersecting volumes, Magique offers three different shelves, accessible from each of its four sides, while it creates a pretty combination of nuances as the objects it contains shine through.’ Studio Klass’ sketch of the design |
