A grand HUNTING EWER, PITCHER, from one of Portugal's oldest and finest porcelain manufacturers, Vista Alegre, "VA" on the base. This stunning piece is fully glazed inside and on the handle, while most of the outside is in a most elegant white-white matte finish. Deep repousse "catch of the hunt" are suspended around the outside tree trunk -- a fox, a rabbit, and a fowl -- with forest ferns curling up around the base, and to the sides of the pouring spout.
Height is about 11" to top of handle, 9" from handle-to spout, on a base about 4-1/2" diameter.
