The Frame, in fact, aimed to meet the aesthetics of a real piece of furniture: a frame that houses a painting, precisely. The assumption, therefore, is quite simple: when the TV is not in use, it does not necessarily have to be a dull and anonymous screen, but can integrate with the furniture by hosting real works of art that the user can choose based on their taste, style or preference.
With the “Pro” version, however, the new TV from the Korean giant acquires a new level of “perfection”, not so much from an artistic point of view but also and above all from a technological side.

Mini LED technology is not at all new: implemented starting from 2021 by most manufacturers, it has allowed us to move away more or less gradually from LCD screens.

Forget about hiding black cables behind furniture or camouflaging them against walls. The new The Frame launched by Samsung during CES 2025 goes wireless. The Frame Pro will in fact be equipped with a “Wireless Box”, an external device that collects all the connections of the TV, including Wifi, in addition to the traditional “inputs” and “outputs”. In this way the TV can be positioned freely in the home without considering the distance from electrical outlets.
In essence, TVs equipped with Mini LED, thanks to a particular backlighting system, allow you to balance two extremes that are perfectly functional for enjoying images: deep blacks and particularly bright areas that stand out from the others, producing bright and clear images.
With The Frame Pro, however, the Mini LED acquires a new value. Samsung has in fact announced that it will position the “micro LEDs” only in the lower part of the screen. According to the statements, this approach should guarantee a higher image quality (compared to its predecessors where the LEDs were traditionally arranged along the entire screen), with vivid colors and even deeper contrasts.
