A decidedly minimal design with an "X" frame made of 7000 aluminium, a higher grade than commonly used aluminium. In this case, however, Honbike has taken a further step forward by giving the bicycle a similar appearance to traditional ones thanks to the structural battery pack.
The cells, in fact, are stacked vertically in the tubular in the center making the accumulator practically invisible. ensuring a much cleaner appearance.
The battery offers approximately 100 km of autonomy in low energy consumption mode. However, for those willing to give up a few km of autonomy, there is a second mode for assisted pedaling which should guarantee more power. The pedal-assist system is capable of adapting to the cyclist based on the input given when pedaling.
The wheel is fixed on two tubulars, the rims are made of magnesium and reduce the risk of bending and eliminate spoke maintenance.
The transmission uses a belt instead of the traditional chain. In particular, the bicycle uses a Gates Carbon Drive belt, an absolute advantage compared to traditional chains.
