Discus is a modern reinterpretation of the traditional caviar dish. The two-part design consists of a base and a cover in pressed crystal with an angled edge profile that prevents the cover from slipping off the ice-filled base. The angled edge also ensures that the cover is always perfectly centered on the base. The caviar is presented in the cavity of the cover, where the crystal is as thin as possible to keep the caviar optimally cooled. Two cutout details in the base ensure that the cover can be easily lifted.
A fine delicacy such as caviar demands great care, and Discus meets all the requirements of perfect service while making no compromise on design and originality.
Discus was designed to accommodate the right amount of ice in its internal compartment, a necessary precaution that will keep the caviar contained in the upper cavity at the ideal serving temperature.
