Art gains a domestic and practical dimension thanks to PESCE FRESCO, a series of cutting boards projected by the Tuscan artist Stefano Pilato and exclusively made by KnIndustrie. Beautiful, colourful and funny, the cutting boards PESCE FRESCO recall the shapes of fishes and whales while play on the line between artworks and everyday things. In fact, they can be used as both sculptures and cutting boards. The collection is entirely made of walnut wood: the back (which is the cutting board part) remains in natural walnut wood, while the front part is absorbed with non-toxic varnishes, suitable for alimentary use. The funny variant BLUE FISH represents a blue abyssal fish, with dimensions L.50 D.25 H.2.5. It is characterized by a practical steel bowl, which is fixed with a magnet and resembles a big eye.
