The Danese company, founded in Milan in the fifties, was originally creating only unique artistic pieces, mostly for interior design. Two designers, Enzo Mari and Bruno Munari, have considerably developed the company when they established the industrialisation of all the production at the end of the 1950s.

The Danese designers have always been taking into consideration the human aspect as well as the space around the object, while exploring the technical limits of the time.
