Iittala is a Finnish design agency founded in 1881. Some of littala's most long-lived products, such as their table ware and accessories for the house, date back to the early 1930's. Designers that have contributed to their success range from famous names from the first wave of modernism to promising young designers of today. The resulting products are in every sense, timeless. Designs from Iittala are forward-thinking while at the same time are united with a strong artisan experience. They remind us of the continuing passage of time and our habits, which continue to change. This company leaves us free to live without feeling like we have accumulated useless items.
