Valentina Raiola was born in Sanremo in 1988 and lives in Genoa. After a scientific education, in 2015 guided by her artistic soul she discovered the "Urban Sketchers", an international community of people that looks at the world through the art of drawing. Co-founder of the Urban Sketchers Liguria group since 2016, she organizes monthly design events in the most beautiful places in Liguria. She is also a globetrotter, passionate about the art of "Carnet de Voyage", so during her travels she likes to draw with ink and watercolors on diaries that have been exhibited during some international festivals and exhibitions of travel sketch books. Her carnets are made with mixed techniques: she loves inks, watercolors, printing techniques, instant photographs, craft bindings, so she lets all these passions explode through the pages of her travel diaries, banishing rules and technique.
