Pezzente is the glass service designed by Gio Ponti in 1946. The patchwork style applied to glass for a collection that pays homage to the great Italian master.
Pezzente is a collection that reflects on glass the technique of combining different textures or colors to generate a new and unconventional style. In 1946, in anticipation of the 1947 Milan Triennale, Gio Ponti carried out a study on some tableware. Thus the "Pezzente Service" was born. The glasses and the bottle feature "pieces" of hot-applied colored glass, which make each element of the service unique.
